Atheist Revolution's Most Popular Posts of 2019

2019 starting line

Toward the end of every year, I write a brief year-end link post in which I share the 10 most popular Atheist Revolution posts written that year. This is one of the few traditions I can stomach and have been able to stick with, as I'm genuinely curious each year to see which posts ended up being the most popular. Of the 10 that make the list each year, I typically can't guess more than 3 correctly. With 2019 quickly coming to an end, I figured it was time to share this year's list of the most popular posts.

Here are the 10 most popular posts at Atheist Revolution written during 2019:

  1. What Caused the Flood That Required Noah's Ark?
  2. Why Do Atheists Refuse to Believe in God?
  3. Why Can't You Keep Your Atheism to Yourself?
  4. Building Another Church in Mississippi
  5. Understanding Why Some Atheists Seem Angry
  6. We Still Don't Hear Enough About Christian Extremism
  7. Why Do People Become Atheists?
  8. The Gnostic Atheist
  9. OK Boomer and the Changing Face of Atheism
  10. How They React When They Learn You Are an Atheist

In identifying these posts, I used Google Analytics to show all posts written during 2019 and then sorted them by pageviews. That means that posts which were still popular during 2019 but written in prior years were not included. One of these days, I may have to look into doing a "most popular posts of all-time" post, but that isn't what this one is.

Thank you for being part of Atheist Revolution in 2019. If you have not yet subscribed or connected on social media, this would be a good time to do so. I hope you have a fantastic New Year and that 2020 proves to be a good year for atheism, humanism, skepticism, freethought, the separation of church and state, and the like.
