If You Can't Trust a Demonic Whore...
I guess this might not come as much of a surprise to some of you, but it appears that I am a demonic whore who will burn in some sort of hell. There's no love quite like Christian love, is there? I think what I appreciate most about this is that this came from someone whose Twitter handle is @jesusforpeace1.
When one sees something like this, it is only natural that one might wonder what, if anything I might have done to warrant it. Perhaps I had been antagonizing this particular Christian to the point where he or she finally snapped. I've certainly seen plenty of atheists do this on Twitter, pushing and pushing some hapless Christian until the Christian finally responds in kind and then trying to make a ridiculous claim of victimhood. This is typically the point where I unfollow the atheist and remind myself that there are plenty of atheists out there with whom I'd prefer not to associate.
In this particular case, what I did to provoke the above tweet was to tweet a link to a post (An Open Letter to American Catholics), which @jesusforpeace1 evidently did not like. The reason I say this is that this tweet that quickly followed the one above:
I'm assuming that this individual is a Catholic who did not like my message to Catholics.
In any case, I thought it was wise to inform you, the reader, that you should probably ignore my opinion because I am a "liar, false prophet and demonic animal." You know, I don't think I've ever been called a prophet before, false or otherwise. I don't think I like it nearly as much as "demonic whore." That one may end up on my resume.
If You Can't Trust a Demonic Whore...
