What Happened to the Short Posts?

As I have been looking back through some of my old posts, I've noticed that I used to write a lot of very short posts here at Atheist Revolution, posts where I'd share one idea and little else. It was kind of like, "Here's this interesting thought rattling around in my head. Take it or leave it."

I wasn't being lazy when I did this - I just didn't have more to say and figured it was enough. Admittedly, I had little idea how blogging was supposed to work, especially in what was the tiny niche of atheist blogs at the time.

I've gotten away from the short post format over the years. I'm not sure why. It wasn't something I thought about or sought to do for any particular reason. My posts just seemed to gradually become longer, more detailed, and far more time-consuming to write (and read).

With time now being at a premium, I think I may have to experiment with a partial return to the short post format. I hope I remember how to do it!
