Mississippi Atheist Confronts Anti-Atheist Bigotry

James Meredith and Ole MissImage by speakingoffaith via FlickrHow should one respond to anti-atheist bigotry? That is the question Butch is asking in a recent post at Mississippi Atheists. He describes an interesting encounter with a stranger who made anti-atheist comments to him. Butch stood his ground, told the bigot that he was in fact an atheist, and engaged him in a civil discussion. Butch would like to know what you would have done in a similar situation. I'm going to leave him a comment right now, so feel free to join me.
