I read a number of atheist blogs, far too many to be able to track who said what and when. You'd think I'd also enjoy listening to atheist podcasts, but this particular medium has never really connected with me. There was a time when I tried 4-5 different podcasts. I would often load them on my iPod in anticipation of long road trips. While I really enjoyed them on long drives, I rarely listened to them at home. I think a big part of it has to do with my attention span and my tendency to be active when in front of my computer. I'd much rather search for information or write something, and I could never concentrate well on a podcast while doing so.
I'm interested to hear what you think about podcasting in general and atheist podcasts in particular. Do you enjoy and regularly listen to any atheist podcasts? If so, are there any particular ones you'd recommend?
I ask not because I'm thinking about starting a podcast or anything like that. I wouldn't know where to begin. I ask because I wonder if I'm missing out on an important aspect of the atheist community by not utilizing them more. If I was going to give it another try, which ones should I try?
