Although there is supposedly a war going on in America against "people of faith" (i.e., morons) this story makes it sound like atheists (and their relatives) may be discriminated against on the basis of their lack of belief. While this is nothing new to my atheist readers (most of whom will have their own tales of being targeted by intolerant Christians), I thought this story was worth sharing. It sounds like the school district backed out of their contract because they think this guy might be an atheist! Worse yet, it sounds like they are being allowed to get away with it. It looks like "activist" judges are okay as long as they protect shared delusional systems.
